Roll Crusher 350

Construction:
Welded steel construction of modular design.
1800 mm roll length, roll diameter 350 mm.

Combining one-pair and two-pair high machine stands, results in the following sizes: ZWR, VWR, SWR.
The type ZWR has one pair of rolls.
The type VWR has two pairs of rolls.
The type SWR has three pairs of rolls.

Design:
Product-contacted parts of stainless steel with smooth surface.
Dust-tight crushing chamber, hinged driving motors.

Equipment:
Adapted to the product to be crushed:
- corrugated rolls,
- smooth rolls,
- rolls with longitudinal cleats.
Infinitely adjustable roll gap, manually operated.
Automatic roll gap opening during the starting phase.
Product feed by means of roll feeding system.

Operating Characteristic:
Continuously produces narrow particle size distribution of the final product with a minimum portion of dust.

Application:
Crushing of soft, brittle or hard products up to a Mohs hardness of 3.5 - 4.

Description of Components:
Machine Stand:
Welded design, stainless steel product chamber, stand walls substantially thick, strong longitudinal crossbeams welded to stand walls, integrated sealing surfaces for product chamber covers, adjustable supports for driving motor, lifting eyelets, feeding system, and all mounting parts.

Rolls:
Chilled cast rolls 350 mm x 1800 mm, various materials possible, front-side roll sealing by V-ring and counter-plates.

Feeding Equipment:
Roll feeding system with one stainless steel roll having a profile suitable for conveyance, manually adjustable slide for the height of the prod.-layer, conveying capacity of the roll adjustable by frequency converter.

Roll Bearing Assembly:
Rolls in self-aligning roller bearings with grease lubrication, bearing withdrawal rings.

Bearing Housings:
Swivel bearing housing on bolts, on the drive side equipped with fixed rings, sealing by 2-lip seal, split housing; front bearing housing on bolts, tiltable by eccentric bolt.

Gap Adjustment:
Manually by means of threaded spindle, scale ring as precise gap indicator, shearing pin with predetermined bearing point, cup spring assembly protects if foreign materials pass, lubricated sliding points, adjustment by means of pin spanner.

Drive:
Motors: For each pair of rolls 1 motor of 40 hp up to 50 hp, standard motor with 1500 rpm.
Transmission: Connection from the motor to the high-speed roll (swivel roll) by V-belts, transmission to the low-speed roll via dual V-belts, automatic retightening of the V-belt drives, various differential speeds.

Sheet Covering:
Drive zones: screwed-on sheet covers of stainless steel with ventilation openings.
Product chamber zone: Doors of stainless steel sheet, turnbuckle locks, safety switches, hinged, or fixed, with sealing all around.

Roll Sealing:
Front sealing by V-rings, counter plates of stainless steel.

Product Guidance:
Vertical product guiding pit, consisting of stainless steel ledges provided with adjustable scraper blades.

General:
Magnet separator in the inlet zone optional, aspiration possible, potential compensation, completely assembled and wired ready for connection, electric control by PLC and operator panel.
