Overview
For crushing a variety of soft, brittle to medium-hard products, Bauermeister's 252 Roll Crusher offers high throughput with narrow particle size distribution. The creation of undesirable fine particles is reduced by subjecting the product to a combined shearing and pressing action. The narrow particle size distribution is achieved by controlling a combination of variables including roll speed, roll gap, differential speed, feed rate and roll surface design. The 252 features a welded, dust-tight machine housing with polished smooth inside surfaces. Compact, rugged and easy-to-use, the 252 Roll Crusher is especially suitable for the processing of chemicals, super absorbent polymers, pharmaceuticals, plastics and food products where stainless steel contact area is important.
